1. Snow Dogs (2002)

A brother and sister run an abandoned hotel for stray dogs. Andi and Bruce are foster kids who want to keep a stray dog in their home but their self-involved foster parents won’t allow them. The main guide, played by the late Paul Walker, constantly worries about the dogs back at home. Days and months pass, and we are wondering how many pups survive.

With six of his eight sled dogs in tow, Shepard and his crew head back to civilization, with the last scene showing a grave for the two dogs, Old Jack and Dewey.
